The ETSU women's tennis team tallied its first win of the season on Wednesday as it downed Appalachian State by a score of 4-3. With Wednesday's victory, the Buccaneers improve to 1-3 in 2025. ETSU won the first doubles match of the day from No. 1 position as Daniela Rivera and Alessandra Caceres came away with a 6-3 win. However, the Mountaineers battled back to win the other two doubles tilts (6-2, 7-5) to secure that point.

Gardner-Webb 5, UNCG 2
Alexandra Dodashev and Luna Urso of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team both collected singles wins in the team's 5-2 loss to Gardner-Webb on Wednesday at the UNCG Tennis Courts.The Runnin' Bulldogs secured the doubles point after Arili Boshoff and Emilia Roslund defeated Dodashev and Olivia Gallagher, 6-3, on court one just before Gretz Murzsa and Alizee Poulin secured a 6-4 win over Elisabeth Birkevold and Lauren Thomson on court three.
