Saturday's Women's Tennis Roundup

Kentucky 6, ETSU 1

The ETSU women's tennis team dropped its season opener at Kentucky by a score of 6-1 on Saturday. Kentucky began the day by securing the doubles point. The Wildcats won matches by scores of 6-2 and 6-1 to gain the early lead on the Bucs. ETSU played competitively in singles. Freshman Ksenija Rage picked up a win (6-2, 3-6, 12-10) for ETSU's lone point in the contest. Seniors Daniela Rivera also pushed her match to three sets, while Ralitsa Alexandrova was narrowly edge in her matchup as she fell in both sets, 7-6.

Louisville 7, UNCG 0

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women's tennis team fell in its 2025 season opener on Saturday, 7-0, to Louisville at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals were able to tally the first point of the day after clinching all three doubles matches for the 1-0 advantage. The closest doubles contest of the day came when Allie Gretkowski and Lika Peresypkina defeated Alexandra Dodashev and Olivia Gallagher, 6-3, on court one.
