App State Wrestling registered 11 finalists at the Wilkes Open on Friday, with four wrestlers winning outright titles and three weight classes featuring all-App State finals that weren't contested.

Camels drop duals at Knockout Christmas Classic
The Campbell Fighting Camels had a tough day at the Knockout Christmas Classic, dropping three duals at the Silver Spurs Arena on Saturday. The Camels (1-7) fell to Wisconsin, 13-25, North Dakota State, 16-22, and #22 West Virginia, 12-31.
Chattanooga Wrestlers Go 2-1 at Norman Duals
The Chattanooga Mocs squared off three times Saturday in the Norman Duals. The Mocs, 1-6 on the year, captured two of the three bouts with wins over CSU Bakersfield and Southeast Community College prior to a hard-fought 26-14 loss to No. 21 Oklahoma. The Mocs claimed 18 wins with bonus points in 15 of them.
VMI downed by Duke entering New Year
VMI Wrestling closes out 2024 with a challenging loss to Duke on Sunday afternoon at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Keydets, who fall to 4-6, dropped a close 22-12 dual to the Blue Devils who earn their fourth win of the year.
