The Wofford women's basketball team battled hard Sunday afternoon inside Colonial Life Arena against the reigning national champion, but the No. 2 South Carolina Gamecocks pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 93-47 win. The Terriers drop to 6-5 as the Gamecocks improve to 12-1.

Eastern Kentucky 81, Samford 66

The Samford women's basketball team led for the majority of the first three quarters, but a cold fourth period proved costly in an 81-66 loss to Eastern Kentucky Sunday afternoon in the Pete Hanna Center. With the loss, Samford fell to 4-11 on the season. Eastern Kentucky improved to 10-3 with the win.
