Lehigh 69, Wofford 64

The Wofford women's basketball team fought hard Saturday afternoon inside Stabler Arena, but the late push to come back fell just short as the Terriers lost 69-64 to the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. Wofford drops to 6-4 on the season as Lehigh improves to 8-3. The Terriers won the glass, 39-30, and owned a significant advantage on the offensive boards with 16 to Lehigh's seven.

Chattanooga 93, Salem 34

Chattanooga women's basketball wrapped up its non-conference season with a rout on Saturday in front of the McKenzie Arena faithful, after the Mocs demolished Salem University 93-34 in UTC's final game of the 2024 calendar year. While an early three-point basket by the Tigers gave Salem a 3-2 lead just under a minute into the game, a Gianna Corbitt three that followed immediately after gave Chattanooga a lead that it would not lose again for the remainder of the day.

App State 74, Mercer 61

Home-standing Mercer canned better than 65 percent of its field goal attempts amid a torrid second-half shooting effort, but visiting Appalachian State limited the Bears to just a trio of made field goals in the first stanza on the way to a 74-61 win over the Orange & Black on Saturday in Hawkins Arena. The setback marked the fifth-straight loss for the Bears (4-10) who will now get an 8-day break from competition before closing out the calendar year at Kennesaw State on December 30. The triumph snapped a three-game skid for the Mountaineers (4-6) who improved to 5-1 all-time in the series with MU.

FGCU 67, ETSU 54

East Tennessee State University women's basketball was unable to overcome a 16-point halftime deficit and came up short, 67-54, at Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday. Senior guard Kendall Folley led the Bucs with her best performance of the season, scoring 25 points on 10-for-18 shooting and 2-for-3 shooting from behind the arc, hitting her first 3-pointers in over a month. 5th year guard Courtney Moore played all 40 minutes and added 18 points.
