The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team fell to Radford 1-0 on Wednesday at Radford Softball Stadium in a non-conference pitcher's duel.
UNCG fell to 30-11 overall and Radford improved to 22-19.Furman scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Queens escaped a bases loaded jam to down the Paladins, 7-6, in non-conference softball action Wednesday at Pepsi Stadium.

Samford catcher Katie Campbell homered and drove in six runs to lead the Bulldog softball team to a 7-5 win at West Georgia Wednesday evening.
Samford improved its season record to 27-15 with the win. West Georgia dropped to 9-28 with the loss.
Hallie Langford hit a go-ahead triple with two outs in the fifth inning to help support a complete-game effort from Katheryn Rearley as Mercer snapped an 11-year drought in its series with Kennesaw State with a 3-1 victory over the Owls on Wednesday evening at Sikes Field.
