The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over The Citadel in Southern Conference (SoCon) action on Friday afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts. UNCG earned the doubles point to get on the board first, 1-0. It started with John Gabelic and Eric Lindemann capturing a doubles victory, 6-1, over Nick Stroumpis and Anthony Osipov. Luke Thomson and Tymofiy Khrystuk then teamed up to defeat Noah Van Dyke and Tucker Hendrix, 6-3, on court one. Andrew Black and Devon Moskowitz's doubles match went the way of Ted Bagwell and Diego Ladino, 6-3, but UNCG had already secured the doubles point.

Ted Bagwell / Diego Ladino prevailed at 2-doubles for the second straight match, improving to 3-2 this season. Noah Van Dyke won for the second consecutive day at the top singles flight, doubling up his opponent 6-3. Freshman Anthony Osipov also proved victorious for the second day in a row, winning a first-set tiebreaker 7-5 before earning an easy 6-2 win in the second set.

Chattanooga 5, UAB 2
The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team earned a 5-2 victory over non-conference opponent UAB during Friday afternoon action at the UTC Tennis Center on campus. Following the win, Chattanooga (8-6) has now won seven of its last eight matches and snapped a three-match skid against UAB (5-9) in the series' history. The Mocs have just two non-conference matches remaining on its schedule before SoCon play ramps up at the end of the month.
