Furman 7, UNCG 0
The Furman men's tennis team returned home to Mickel Tennis Center for the first time in nearly two weeks Friday and secured a doubleheader sweep of the UNC Greensboro Spartans and North Greenville Trailblazers. Furman stepped back into Southern Conference action by defeating UNC Greensboro, 7-0, and followed with a 4-0 non-conference victory over North Greenville. The Paladins improve to 5-5 overall and 2-0 in the SoCon. With the loss, UNC Greensboro drops 4-6 on the season and 0-1 in league play. North Greenville falls to 3-5 for the year.
Augusta 7, The Citadel 0
The Citadel men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to the now 8-2 Augusta University Jaguars on Friday afternoon. In singles play of the first match, the Bulldogs forced three sets to tiebreakers. In match two, Noah Van Dyke earned the lone point for The Citadel, winning his 2-singles match in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
Kennesaw State 6, Chattanooga 1
The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 defeat at non-conference opponent Kennesaw State on Friday afternoon in Kennesaw, Ga., at the Betty Siegel Tennis Center. Following the loss, Chattanooga (6-6) saw its five-match win streak snapped which featured its first-ever victory over a ranked opponent in No. 75 Georgia Southern last Saturday. Kennesaw State (4-4) snapped a four-match skid after starting the 2025 spring season a perfect 3-0.
