Newcomer Amen Prince Gandonou rallied all the way back from a 5-3 deficit to capture a deciding third set and cap a monumental comeback effort for the Bears that gave them their first win over North Florida in program history on Sunday afternoon at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center. It was the second win in the last three home matches for the Orange & Black (3-4) who trailed 3-2 on the team scoreboard before tacking up singles victories on Court Nos. 1 and 3 to conclude the afternoon. Mercer improved to 1-10 all-time in the series with the Ospreys (2-11) who captured the Atlantic Sun Conference championship last season on the way to an NCAA Tournament appearance.
ETSU 5, Lipscomb 2
East Tennessee State University men's tennis returned to the win column with a decisive 5-2 victory over Lipscomb on Sunday. ETSU took the doubles point with relative ease, as Pedro Cressoni and James Sim won 6-1, followed by a 6-4 win from Francisco Lamas and Juan Andres Listo. In singles, Andres Listo and Carlos Gonzales quickly buoyed the Bucs to a 3-0 lead, notching 6-4, 6-2 and 6-1, 6-2 wins, respectively. The Bisons earned a pair of points on courts one and four before Martin Garcia-Ripoll clinched the match for the Blue & Gold with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win.

Clemson 4, Furman 1
The 31st-ranked Clemson Tigers topped the Furman men's tennis team, 4-1, on Sunday at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. Senior Elijah Poritzky defeated Noa Vukadin at number one singles to score for the Paladins. Furman drops to 3-5 overall while Clemson improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Tigers clinched the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead over the Paladins after sweeping both completed matches at No. 1 and No. 3. In the No. 3 match, Marko Mesarovic and Matt Pitts topped Nicolas Dispas and Nico Snyder, 6-1.
Bulldogs Fall Twice to Defending NAIA National Champions
The Citadel men's tennis team dropped pair of 6-1 decisions to NAIA #1 ranked Georgia Gwinnett College on Sunday afternoon. The Grizzles have won 10 straight National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championships and are currently on a 45-match win streak.
