UNCG 7, USC Sumter 0

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team cruised past the USC Sumter Fire Ants, 7-0, on Friday afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts. William Elmers and John Gabelic got things started for the Spartans by stretching their doubles winning streak to three, earning a convincing 6-2 victory on court three.

Mercer 5, College of Charleston 2

Home-standing Mercer yielded just seven games on the way to grabbing all three doubles matches, and then took four singles matches in straight sets on the way to a 5-2 victory over the College of Charleston on Friday afternoon at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center. It was the first dual meet victory of the spring for the Bears (1-2) who notched a win in their home opener for the fourth-straight season.

Samford 4, UAB 3

The Samford men's tennis team earned a hard-fought 4-3 win over cross-town rival UAB Friday afternoon at the Samford Tennis Center. With the win, Samford improved its season record to 5-2. UAB fell to 3-4 with the loss. The match-winning point came on the No. 1 singles court where Sandeep Mohandoss defeated Noah Malige, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.
