The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Maridoe Collegiate on Tuesday at Maridoe Golf Course.TEAM
- UNCG carded a 33-over-par (897) in the two-day tournament behind rounds of 295-294-308.
- UNCG finished just behind No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 4 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Arizona State and No. 14 Alabama, respectively.
- Oklahoma carded a seven-under-par (857) to earn first place in the tournament. The Sooners were the only team in the field to finish under-par.
- Oklahoma State finished in second place with a nine-over-par (873).
- Arizona State earned a third-place finish behind a 24-over-par (888).
- Alabama finished just above UNCG with a 25-over-par (889).
- Host school, North Texas finished in seventh place with a 35-over-par (899).
- The Spartans finished third with a 4.82 average on par five holes on the 13-team leaderboard.

he Samford men's golf team placed seventh in the Memphis Intercollegiate, held Monday and Tuesday at Colonial Country Club.Samford finished with a three-round team score of 918 (304-303-311) to finish seventh in the 15-team event. Illinois won the tournament with a final score of 878 (298-291-289).
