Carberry, Pritchett Lead Bucs in First Round of Hootie at Bulls Bay

The ETSU men's golf team wrapped the first round of competition at The Hootie at Bulls Bay with a 1-under 287 on Sunday, led by Ben Carberry and Joshua Pritchett with a pair of 1-under 71s.

Furman's Clark Akers (-7) fired an opening round 65 to lead the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate by two strokes Sunday at the par 72, 7,220 yard Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.  

Butcher, Cline Lead Catamounts at the Hootie Intercollegiate

Sophomore Jace Butcher and freshman Chase Cline both carded opening-round scores of 1-under par 71 on Sunday to sit in a tie for 22nd overall to lead Western Carolina men's golf individually as the Catamounts are mired in a two-way tie for 14th after 18 holes at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,282-yard Bulls Bay Golf Club.
