The Samford men's golf team used a strong final round to finish in a tie for fifth at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by USC Aiken, on Monday and Tuesday.
 
The teams only played two rounds due to inclement weather. Samford finished with a three-round score of 588 (307-281) to tie with Mercer for fifth in the 15-team field.
