Trent Turner belted his team-leading 12th home run of the season as part of two extra-base hits, and Wyatt Stanley drove in four on a trio of singles as Western Carolina handed The Citadel a 15-2 loss in a soggy seven innings Saturday afternoon in Southern Conference action at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium.
Bulldogs Fall to the Catamounts
The Citadel dropped a 15-2 game against Western Carolina on Saturday afternoon. Thomas Rollauer led the Bulldogs with two hits on the day. Garrett Dill recorded the lone RBI for The Citadel, his 20th RBI on the season. Maddox Webb (4-1) took the loss after throwing four innings, allowing six runs. Davis Wright (4-6) recorded the win after throwing six innings, striking out three.
Bucs even the series against Wofford with 10-6 victory
The ETSU baseball team bounced back with a 10-6 victory against Wofford on Saturday afternoon at Thomas Stadium. Saturday's win improves ETSU's overall record to 36-13 and its SoCon mark to 12-5. The 36 victories are tied for the third-most in the history of ETSU baseball matching the 2011, 2013 and 2024 teams.

Despite a late comeback push, the Wofford baseball team succumbed to a six-run fourth inning by ETSU Saturday afternoon at Thomas Stadium en route to a 10-6 Buccaneer win. Wofford drops to 29-23 (6-11 SoCon) as the Bucs improve to 36-13 (12-5 SoCon).
Bears Fall To Virginia Tech In Pitcher’s Duel
Mercer pitchers Colton Cosper and Jess Ackerman limited Virginia Tech to two runs on four hits, but the Bears were kept off the scoreboard in a 2-0 loss to the Hokies on Saturday afternoon. Ely Brown (1-for-2) reached base three times to lead the Bears at the plate.
