Bears Win Wild Game To Sweep UNCG
Trailing 4-0 going into the fourth inning, Mercer used three home runs to storm back and take down UNCG by a score of 7-4, securing the series sweep on Sunday at OrthoGeorgia Park. Parker Lester (1-for-3), Ty Dalley (1-for-4) and Bradley Frye (2-for-3) homered to lead the Bears at the plate. Five Mercer relief pitchers combined to shut out the Spartans over the game's final six innings, with Craig Kalkbrenner (1-2) getting the win with 2 – 1/3 shutout frames. Jay Miller (2-4) took the loss for UNCG.

UNCG Baseball Falls in SoCon Series Finale at Mercer
The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team fell 7-4 to the Mercer Bears in the finale of a three-game weekend series of The Southern Conference (SoCon) action on Sunday afternoon at OrthoGeorgia Park. The Spartans got into the score column first with Jacob Dilley hitting a solo home run to center. Three batters later, Luke Holland put a charge into one out to left-center for two more runs after Brantley Truitt reached on a single in the previous at-bat. The two home runs in the second inning put UNCG up by a 3-0 margin.

Bulldogs Complete the Sweep Over the Keydets in 11-8 Victory
The Bulldogs achieved their first Southern Conference sweep on the season and the first since 2015 against ETSU. The Citadel sweep of VMI is the first since 2002. The Bulldogs achieved a season-high 15 hits, tied a season-high of 11 runs, tied a season-high of 10 RBIs, and tied a season-high of 6 doubles. Eight of the nine batters in the Bulldogs' lineup had a hit. Lane Tobin showcased the Bulldogs' lineup by going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, marking the first three-hit game of his career. Garrett Dill recorded the first three-hit game of his career after going 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs. Matthew Lively went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI.

Fitzwater tallies four hits as VMI falls to The Citadel
VMI Baseball was swept in its weekend series to The Citadel after dropping Sunday's matchup at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The Keydets (25-20, 5-10 SoCon) had shining moments offensively, but the Bulldogs prevailed with an 11-8 final. VMI's offense was able to produce 15 hits, with four Keydets swinging multiple hits.

Samford Baseball Takes Game Three From Western Carolina, 7-1
The Samford University baseball team earned an impressive 7-1 win over Western Carolina in the final game of a three-game Southern Conference series Sunday afternoon at Joe Lee Griffin Field. With the win, Samford improved its season record to 23-20 overall and 9-6 in Southern Conference play. Western Carolina fell to 22-21 overall and 6-9 in league play.

Trent Turner hit his team-leading eighth home run of the season to give Western Carolina life in the fourth inning, and Jack Spyke legged out his conference-leading 16th double of the year, but Samford salvaged Sunday's series finale 7-1 in Southern Conference action at Joe Lee Griffin Field.

Curless drives in five in ETSU’s 5-3 win at Toledo
First baseman Tristan Curless drove in all five runs in the ETSU baseball team's 5-3 victory on the road at Toledo on Sunday afternoon. Sunday's win is ETSU's 30th of the season and boosts its overall record to 30-12 on the 2025 campaign. Curless not only drove in all five runs for ETSU on the day but also stole a base, collected three of ETSU's six hits on the day and finished a home run shy of the cycle.

Wofford Baseball Drops Twin Bill at High Point
The Wofford baseball team dropped a pair of contests Saturday afternoon at Williard Stadium to the High Point Panthers. The Terriers lost game one 9-3 before falling 15-6 in the closer. Wofford moves to 25-20 as High Point improves to 30-14.
